Dr. Anna Walker is an optometrist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered eye care with a focus on primary care optometry, ocular disease management, pediatric eye care and low vision services. She is committed to delivering thorough, personalized care for patients of all ages while helping to preserve and improve long-term visual health through evidence-based treatment and advanced diagnostic techniques.
Dr. Walker earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England Collee of Optometry (NECO) after completing her Bachelor of Arts in biology at Stonehill College. She completed her residency at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center, where she provided comprehensive optometric care with an emphasis on ocular disease, specialty contact lenses and low vision rehabilitation.
Throughout her clinical training, Dr. Walker gained experience in diverse care settings including pediatric optometry, refractive surgery co-management and ocular disease treatment. Her rotations included work with pediatric patients, ocular disease management and advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques including IPL therapy and corneal topography. She is also certified in lasers and injections through NECO.
Known for her compassionate bedside manner and attention to detail, Dr. Walker is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, informed and confident in their eye care. She is committed to providing high-quality, individualized vision care to every patient she serves. Outside of the office, Dr. Walker enjoys taking long walks with her Bernedoodle, spending summers with her family and enjoying cappuccinos.
